29th Jul 2019. With an aim to increase the no. of lungs per square feet in the home of India's greatest environmental movement- Uttarakhand. HP Pantnagar along with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a plantation drive in one of the Muskaan school. For this event HP volunteers, students and teachers participated by planting saplings in the school premises. The volunteers had a little session with the students on the importance of the event and the impact it will have on the environment. The students also showed their eagerness in the event by organizing and performing a nukkar natak with the reminder on the importance of trees. The volunteers explained the reason behind this drive and asked the students to not just stop at planting but protect and nurture the tree as well. The participants were appreciated with a small gift and refreshments were given to everyone.

25th Jul 2019. Uttarakhand with it's Chipko Movement marks an important watershed in environmental history that shook the country and the world. It became the face of many environment movements across the globe. Continuing the legacy of the state, HP together with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation organized a plantation drive 'Har Aangan Mein Ped' to help children to inculcate environment friendly behavior. Students and teachers along with the volunteers planted saplings in school premises. Students also organized a short program on the theme 'Har Aangan Mein Ped' with Nukkar natak being the highlight of the program. It was quite motivating to see the students understand the depth of the situation and giving their best to contribute towards the cause in every way they can.
