16th Apr 2019. Devoting time for a noble cause flows in our blood and the team has once again proved the same by successfully planning and executing another HOUR OF CODE (HOC) activity with CSR @ HP Factory premise in Pant Nagar on April 16, 2019. The drive and engagement was to enlighten the 84 students who participated in regards to computer literacy and its importance w.r.t their individual career. The student’s participation was very encouraging and especially in Coding related worksheets. All the students were introduced to the internal parts of a computer at the manufacturing unit wherein our engineers shared a brief information on the assembly, quality check and packing of desktop processes. The session was not only informative but was also fun that included one to one interaction during Pizza party. Each student was given utility items like loaded pencil boxes and HP branded bags which were distributed by HP Volunteers.

10th Jan 2019. Yet another successful execution of Hour of Code (HOC) activity with CSR executed by the Gurgaon Team at the Nigam Pratibha School, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi on 1st February 2019. It was great to see the enthusiasm of young kids (class 3rd, 4th & 5th) who are the “FUTURE OF INDIA”. During this engagement drive, HP Volunteers touched and enlightened more than 500 students in regards to computer literacy and its importance in a fun way. On the lines of edutainment, we interspersed computer science information sharing with activities like Yoga, Importance of First aid in day-to-day life and concluded the activity with musical performances from kids. Each kid in the three classes across sections were given utility items like loaded geometry boxes and HP branded bags which were distributed by HP Volunteers.
