1st Feb 2019. RCB’s coding superheroes make Hour of Code a resounding success! Hour of Code is a global movement held across 180 countries based on the principle that anybody can learn computer science. This global event has helped broaden participation in the field of computer science by impacting 100 million students if diverse backgrounds. RCB launched its Hour of Code campaign in January 2019. Over 160 volunteers supported the event held across 2 government schools in Bangalore over 3 days in January and February 2019. Around 400 students participated in learning sessions conducted by the volunteers where they were taught the basics of computer science. It was an immersive experience for the students as well as the volunteers.
