11th Sep 2019. There was a requirement of Smart Class Equipment from a rural school in Ballupet, Sakleshpur which has a student strength of about 240+ -HP’s initiative of “40 Days of doing good ” has helped the school to have a Smart class setup for students to learn digitally. -This project was internally submitted for the grants request to HP foundation and got the same approved, using which, we have ensured that the smart class was installed in the school as per the agreed timelines. -On 20th Sep’19, We (5 Volunteers) from HP visited the School along with YFS Lead for the inaugural session of the Smart class Setup. We also distributed some sports equipment ( Volley Ball net, Ball badminton sets, Volley Ball, Football , Discuss etc., ) to the school which they were in need of and were surprised to see the number of students who played at district/state levels. -Prizes were distributed to the winners of the recently held taluk level sports as well. -The school had see very good results in the last academic year & are striving hard to improve upon further -The teachers are teaching both academic and non-academic activities through videos & many students echoed that this mode of learning is more fun & they are able to grasp the concepts much better & in many cases becoming easier to understand !! -Parents are seeing a good improvement in their child's learning curve and and the attendance have also been improving steadily. - The HM and School teachers expressed their sincere gratitude.
